The last duchess

Synopsis:
This book is about Lady Jane Lennox and Michael, Duke of Blixford.
Lady Jane is not that much of a lady being raised by her father and six brothers, she rides like a man... and fast, can shoot... even better than most men, smart and in general terrible at anything lady like.

She can't paint, sing or play the pianoforte.

Duke of Blixford wants to marry to make an heir, not for love or affection. When he meets Jane he can't marry her because the danger of falling in love with her are to great. But of course ha can't keep his hands of her... He feels that he has to marry her, but Jane wants love and a real marriage, so she leaves him and runs off to Scotland before he has the opportunity to marry her.

Four years later Jane comes back with the intend to marry Michael...

After having married 3 young women and every one of them died in child birth he has gotten the nickname "The Duke of Death" when Jane comes back she is his last hope and he is her ticket to redemption.

They get married, start there honeymoon, that include sex on a horse of all places, come home have more sex and have Michael tells Jane's father Jane's biggest secret she hears and hate him... That is as far as I got before saying "Fuck it I'm done"

This book is one of the worst books I have ever read, only second to fifty shades.

And is it only me that thinks it is a little perverse that her father has sex with her husbands sister... it's not the age at all, they are both legal and shit... but seriously girl your brother just got freaking married to the guy you are having sex with's fucking daughter... that is more than a little fucking weird, and it didn't even start before... Noooo, it started after the mother fucking wedding.

Stars: 1 star

The only thing I like about this book is Jane and Lucy they are a lot different but still they have some of the same things like they like to draw or look at naked men/ sex.
They are more independent than most women at the time
